Brehna


Overview.

By the 12th century, the County of Brehna had passed to the House of Wettin.

In 1290, after the death of Count Otto IV of Brehna, who left no heirs, the King of the Romans granted the County of Brehna to the Dukes of Saxony-Wittenberg..
